Fill ‘er up with food

RE/MAX North Professionals is asking for help filling its moving truck with non-perishable food items to be donated to the Colchester Food Shelf later this month. This is the third year of the “Fill-The-Truck” program, and more than 1,700 pounds of food and $3,200 in contributions have been donated. Items of need include hearty soups, pasta sauces, tuna fish, peanut butter, laundry detergent and liquid dish detergent. Donations will be accepted until Dec. 19. Large business donations can be picked up. Monetary donations are also accepted, payable to Colchester Food Shelf. Dropoffs can be made at RE/MAX, 875 Roosevet Highway Suite 210 in Colchester.
